Staff Soccer Team

Republic Polytechnic Staff Soccer Team scores with first ever medal in ITIS-NUSS Games

After more than two months of trainings, friendlies and matches, the Republic Polytechnic Staff Soccer Team has finally tasted the fruits of its labour and hard work. The team emerged as Second Runner-Up in the ITIS-NUSS Games 2007 Soccer (11-a-side) Tournament.

The 3rd and 4th placing match held at NTU on 11th September was a much anticipated one as RP faced its rival Temasek Polytechnic. The last time the two sides met at RP’s home ground, the match produced a fiery encounter with TP having a player sent off yet eventually winning by a score of 3-1.

As for the rematch against TP, RP put up a resilient display of attacking football, dominating for most periods of the entire match. The scores goalless at the break while both teams hunted for the winning touch in creating a goal.

In the second half, all caution was thrown to the wind as RP went for the jugular and launched an onslaught of attacks onto the TP goal. Wave after wave of probing and wing play by RP finally resulted in a headed goal but was then ruled offside by the officials.

Spurred on by the disallowed goal, RP went on to convert its superior possession into goals. Mohamed Nasir scored two goals to end the contest and lead RP into the 3rd placing with a score of 2-0 over TP.

Congratulations to the team for achieving their first ever medal for RP in the ITIS-NUSS Games Soccer (11-a-side) Tournament.

What's going on ? All the things changed damn fast.. I cant catch . I cant accept.

Yeah. If You wanna catch something very much, it will only fly away from you. For the case like this, what should we do ? Shall we be angry or sad ? hmm. I really don't know. I was like catching something very ghostly. All I need is some time to clarify what i should do. I am now in fucking depressing mood. I become very weak both mentally and physically.

Lets talk about 'Che' Guevara

Who is 'Che' Guevara ? We 've known him as a typical popular icon on T-shirts, key chains, slippers, hats and many other things. However, many people do not know the actual self of him and his history. A lot of my friends use to say, " He is my hero and my idol ". But do they really know him? Nope. For me, nope, too. He is too mysterious to know for everybody.

For Some South Americans, he is their God and their idolized leader but at the same time, he is a devil and merciless murderer for some south Americans. Sources and evidences say he is no better than Germany Nazis. He is a typical communist. The way he clear his opposite politicians is damn too cruel and relentless.

History was made by the ones who had won. So should we believe these evidences are not propagandas made by USA? The fact I admire him is that he has a heart for his country and his people. He was willing to sacrifice his life for the revolution.

Most of all, his words and wisdom can apply the current situation of Myanmar.I cant no longer wait to see the change of our mother country. I love my country through every single blood vessels of mine. Revolution is a MUST.

Are we,myanmar, degrading ourselves in other countries ??

Yeah. This question comes to my mind after I've read many articles about Myanmar people committing crimes in other countries very recently. First of all, 11 Myanmar illegal immigrants had been invloved in highway car crashing in Malaysia where 9 people died. Secondly, there was a murder case in Thailand where 2 Myanmars are calling each others and Thailand Police is afraid of that murderer cause he could hurt the local people and trying to catch him.

In Singapore , there was a crime of stealing copper cable from a gang led by a Myanmar. A lot of my friends are telling me that there are so many small cases of stealing goods from the owner by myanmar workers in their respective companies.

Come on. Why are we degrading ourselves ? Yeah, we all know our country is totally fucked up by our governmet. But We shouldn't let ourselves and our characters down by them.Our people's morale and character are becoming worsen these days. I can't imagine how a new governmet (if a miracle happens) will change that spoiled habits and characters.

Arr I was just thinking what should I do these days.. Just finish my Poly Days and still don't wanna apply any job. I hate the working life although its the most damn sure thing that I can't avoid.(I also hate to study). Anyway, i applied both NTU and NUS for further study. Come on I know I cant continue like that. Shit worse, I am broke , totally broke. S$1.87 is the money that i left in my bank. My house's utility bill is overdue. My Internet Bill is overdue. My Phone line will be cut off within one week. Nothing is left to eat expect my friend's pet(a tortoise) .Damn.

SNOOP DOGG'S PORTRAIT

I copied this from my friend's blog.I was in awe of his drawing. It is not easy to draw a portrait by using a simple lead pencil. Here check out his blog here. I simply don't have this type of genes which allow me to draw the painting myself. But i do have the genes that i love to appreciate them.

First time Newbie

Yeah, this is my second blog actually......I was thinking to start my own blog for a couple of years already and still can't construct it until now.

Today i started my own blog and created a few posts. Then i logged out and then logged in to amend something. There they comes . I can't see my blog on the dashboard. " YOU ARE NOT A MEMBER OF ANY BLOGS. CREATE YOUR OWN NOW." What in the earth is going on ? So i created this blog again. Enjoy it.

I prefer to write in Burmese Language but with so many reasons ( the main reason is too lazy to learn to type Burmese Character ), i chose my Godmother's tongue, English. Please Enjoy it.
